Mandaean App is a product and services provider headquartered in Sydney, Australia and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you are based anywhere outside of Australia and place an order from us, you will be trading with Mandaean App and therefore this Privacy Policy applies to all domestic and international orders. For simplicity throughout this policy, ‘we’ and ‘us’ means Mandaean App and its brands.
Privacy rights under the EU data protection law include:
- Right of confirmation (to confirm whether or not Personal Information concerning the user is being processed),
- Right of access (the right to request what Personal Information is stored about the user and obtain a copy of that said information),
- Right of erasure (the right to request that any Personal Information concerning the user be erased without delay when no longer required, or when the user withdraws consent),

- Right of restriction of processing (the right to restrict processing where the accuracy of the Personal Information is contested by the user/data subject for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the Personal Information; or the processing is unlawful and the user/data subject opposes the erasure of the Personal Information and requests instead the restriction of their use instead; or we, the controller, no longer need the Personal Information for the processing, but they are required by the user/data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims), as set out in Articles of the General Data Protection Regulations of the EU.
California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA“), California residents have certain rights around our collection, use, and sharing of their personal information. Mandaean does not sell your personal information and will not do so in the future without providing you with notice and an opportunity to opt out of such sale as required by law. Similarly, we do not offer financial incentives associated with our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information. Mandaean collects various categories of personal information when you use our App, including contact details and geolocation data.
If you are a resident of California, you have the right to request to know what personal information has been collected about you and to access that information. You also have the right to request deletion of your personal information, though exceptions under the CCPA may allow Mandaean to retain and use certain personal information notwithstanding your deletion request. An agent may submit a request on your behalf, but you must verify that your agent is authorised to do so.
Separate from the CCPA, California’s Shine the Light law gives California residents the right to ask companies what personal information they share with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties to directly market their goods or services to you unless you request such disclosure. Nevada Residents: Under Nevada law (SB 220), there is a requirement for App operators to provide a way for Nevada consumers to opt-out of the sale of certain information that the App operator may collect about them. We do not sell your personal information to third parties as defined in Nevada law, and will not do so in the future without providing you with notice and an opportunity to opt-out of such sale as required by law. - When you’ve given a third-party permission to share with us information they hold about you.
- We may collect data from publicly-available sources (such as Credit Reference Agencies) when you have given your consent to share information or where the information is made public as a matter of law.
- When you use our offices which usually has CCTV systems operated for the security of both us and our visitors. These systems may record your image during your visit.
- If you have a user profile: your name, contact details, email address, location, IP address and travel itinerary and booking details. For your security, we’ll also keep an encrypted record of your login password.
- Details of your interactions with us through our Global Security Operations Centre, Account Managers, online, email and telephone.
- Copies of documents you provide to prove your age or identity (where the law requires this), which in the case of your passport will include details of your full name, date of birth, place of birth, gender, nationality and facial image.
- Details of your visits to our Apps, and which Platform you came from to ours.
- Data from publicly available lists and third parties that you have agreed can share data with us.
- Your comments and product or service reviews.
- To deliver the best possible web experience, we collect technical information about your internet connection and browser as well as the country and telephone code where your computer is located (IP address), the web pages viewed during your visit, and any search terms you entered.
- Your social media username, if you interact with us through those channels, to help us respond to your comments, questions or feedback.
The data privacy law allows this as part of our legitimate interest in understanding our customers and providing the highest levels of service.
Remember, if you choose not to share your personal data with us, or refuse certain contact permissions, we might not be able to provide some services you’ve asked for or we are contractually obliged to deliver.
- To process any orders that you make by email, App, app or by phone. If we don’t collect your personal data for payment, we won’t be able to process your order and comply with our contractual obligations. (Details may be passed to a third party to process a payment or supply a service that you have ordered, and as such, we may need to keep your details in order to fulfil contractual obligations such as a refund).

- To protect people, premises, assets and our business from crime, a CCTV system is operated which records images for security. This is done on the basis of a legitimate business interest.
- To process payments and to prevent fraudulent transactions. We do this on the basis of our legitimate business interests. This also helps to protect our customers from fraud.
- If we discover any criminal activity or alleged criminal activity through use of CCTV, fraud monitoring and suspicious transaction monitoring, we will process this data for the purposes of preventing or detecting unlawful acts. We aim is to protect the individuals we interact with from criminal activities.
- With your consent, we will use your personal data, preferences and details of your transactions to keep you informed by email, web, text, telephone about relevant products and services, including tailored special offers, discounts, promotions, events, competitions and so on.
- To send you communications required by law or which are necessary to inform you about our changes to the services we provide you. (Related to updates to products or services and other notices that relate to your purchase).
- To administer any of our marketing promotions or competitions which you enter based on your consent given at the time of entering.

We secure access to our Apps using ‘HTTPS’ technology and access to your personal data is password-protected and secured by SSL encryption. We regularly monitor our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and we carry out penetration testing to identify ways to further strengthen security.
Credit Card Information: We do not store any credit card information. The credit card information you provide when you make a purchase in our online store is processed through Stripe or Zip Pay’s online merchant facility. Stripe, Zip Pay and Mandaean App Counter Intelligence comply with PCI Standards.
At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.
